The Urdu Academy of North America dedicated its June 21, 2015 literary session to the life and work of prominent Urdu poet Anjum Roomani. Jafar Shah was MC of the event held at the Chandni Restaurant Newark CA. The late Anjum Rommani's son Sarood Anjum , grandson of Usman Sorood and Mrs Sarood Anjum graced the occasion.
